Just as I have learned of a new addition to my family I have also lost one. Tank was my American pitbull terrier and my best friend of almost 13 years. I raised him since he was 6 weeks old and he passed away tonight in my arms. Tank embodies the definition of a raider. He went about as if he owned the place. He was loyal beyond belief, unrelenting and if you were dumb enough to piss him off you had better be prepared for one hell of a fight. He didnt care what "outsiders" thought of him only his family mattered to him. Tank embodied my opinion of a true raider and he wil be sorely missed. In a way he reminded me of this years team. Look down upon by outsiders, a cast off of "society" and yet determined to show our worth. Both with pitbull like determination and a will to dominate we will prove our doubters wrong. If any of you are familiar with APBTs then you know exactly what im talking about and for those of you who are not, please dont buy the media hype. When raised with love and compassion, they are a great family dog and will die protecting you and your family. Tank I love you buddy rest in peace and ill see you again one day. I dedicate this season to him because its going to be our toughness and determination that win us games this year.
