Can anyone please enlighten me as to why they are still enamored with the thought of Matt Flynn at QB?
He was horrific all preseason? His first play was a sack, fumble. His last play was an INT.
And everything in the middle made me feel like I was watching a midget take on Muhammad Bruce Tyson...with the only problem being I was rooting for the midget.
He's clearly not confident in himself. His body language only inspires the opposing team to blitz with more verve like the King Edward the Longshank's son inspiring William Wallace to invade England.
His arm is constantly hurt and weak and hurt and weak...and I'm not really sure which one is more troubling, because even if he was good...he's likely to have to miss games with tendonitis...
Couldn't beat out a rookie QB on one team with some talent and couldn't beat out a guy that was essentially a rookie on a team with much less talent.
And his only 2 good games were for a team with a tremendous amount of talent on the OL and at the skill positions.
What EXACTLY is the fascination with this guy? And then answer me this we absolute candor...
If Matt Flynn was the starting QB for the Raider's Opponent in any upcoming week would you not be totally excited for what our D would do to him...kind of like how you might have felt with Chad Henne or that other Jag's Turd QB?
I just don't get what this guy has done to earn even a modest amount of curiosity, especially versus TP2...
Enlighten me please with a solid football, statistical argument please.
