Week 3 NFL early games open thread

Chat here with other Raiders fans during the week 4 Sunday early games.

The early slate of games offers just one division rival as the Kansas City Chiefs play host to the struggling New York Giants. Unless Eli Manning can pull out of his historic funk, the Chiefs should handle the Giants pretty easily.

The best match-up in the early going is the Seahawks at Houston. Both teams have been looking like possible AFC Super Bowl contenders and a lot should be discovered about who is for real and who is a pretender in this game.

The Bears and Lions clash in what should be a pretty good game between two NFC playoff contenders. That should be a very good game.

The upstart Bills host the Ravens, the Browns and new starter Brian Hoyer host a very good Bengals team, the Cardinals face the Buccaneers with new rookie starting quarterback, Mike Glennon, the Colts get their turn at a bye week against the Jaguars, and two struggling teams meet when the Steelers head to Minnesota where Matt Cassel is expected to start over Christian Ponder this week.

The Raiders game begins at 1:25 Pacific time so enjoy all the early games action until then. Read all the pertinent information on the Raiders match-up with the Redskins in Oakland in the Gameday guide.
