The moment we've all been waiting for is here. The Raiders are set to kickoff their season opener in Indianapolis against the Colts.
The Raiders have yet to announce their starting quarterback. They still have the two of them listed as both starting. Once the Raiders offense takes the field, we will have an answer as to who is officially starting, but it doesn't answer whether we might see both in this game.
There was one player for the Raiders who was questionable - Sio Moore. Dennis Allen said Friday that Moore was day-to-day. He is active for the game which means he should start at weak side linebacker.
Raiders inactives: QB Matt McGloin, DE Ryan Robinson, T Menelik Watson, G Antoine McClain, DE Brian Sanford, WR Juron Criner, TE David Ausberry
This is not good news for Criner, who appears to have been beaten out by rookie, Brice Butler. Criner was inactive several times last season and the team had hoped he would step up and take a more active role. He is officially not taking an active role today and could be in danger of losing his roster spot should the team need to sign a player for any reason. One such instance is when Andre Holmes comes off suspension after week four.
This one counts, folks. Enjoy watching football that matters and hopefully there will still be things worth talking about after halftime.
