East West Shrine game TODAY

Today is the 88th annual East West Shrine. It is the longest running all-star game in college football. This game has allowed many under the radar players to showcase their skills and prove to NFL teams that they deserve to be drafted into the NFL. Players such as Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Larry Csonka, Kellen Winslow, Mean Joe Greene, Gale Sayers, Dick Butkus and Mike Haynes have used this game, to prove their worth and impress scouts.

The East West Game will be played on Tropicana Field, in St. Petersburg Florida. It will be broadcasted on the NFL Network at 1:00 Pacific Time.

This game is also a great time for us to focus on the small school talent that we did not see before, since many of these players did not have a televised game.

I will now list the entire roster for both teams, and will put an asterisk on the players that you guys should look out for. I have done a lot of research, and there are many players that will be exciting to see how they handle tougher talent.
