I know most of you seem to think Veldheer is about to get some huge payday but I'm not one of them, the guys never made the pro bowl and Branden Albert is the best Tackle on the market followed by Eugene monroe, they'll set the bar for what veldheer gets and more than likely it won't be more than $6-7 million a season. Greg Hardy is the best pass rusher on the market and he's probably gonna get about $10 million a season with the 15 sacks he put up, Michael johnson is probably 2nd followed by Michael Bennett, which means Houston will probably fall somewhere around $5-6 million per season. Rashard Jennings probably played himself into a $4 million a year contract, although he played well there's just so many running backs on the market from Moreno, to jones drew, and ben tate. Sims played very well, but he's not going to get more than $4 million a season either, especially with the number of good DT's on the market. I don't see our Free Agents costing us more than $25 million total to keep, so that gives us easily $25 million to use in free agency, and if the Raiders are smart, they'll sign a defensive tackle, cornerback, and maybe even a defensive end. We could bring in 3 players with price tags around $8-9 Million per season, players like Verner, Davis, or Talib to play corner. Melton, Raji, or Hatcher to play Defensive Tackle, or Johnson, Bennett, or Jared Allen to play defensive end. I really like the idea of signing Alex Mack and moving Wiz to guard, despite what most of you think, I think Wiz is an average center at best and maybe a move like this would be best for his career. If the Raiders fill needs like that in Free Agency, it gives us a better chance to be successful during the draft because we're not desperate to fill a need by any means necessary.
