Let me make this clear. If Johnny Football or Clowney drop to 5 RM must take one.
I don't think either do.
If they are switching to a 3-4 then I think they take Mack/Barr but I don't think they switch. I know every one sees us taking one to be the Raider Von Miller but Sio Moore will bulk up and fill a similar role.
I don't like Bortles, Carr, or Bridgewater at 5. If they trade back to let's say 12-15 spot I would take any of them.
The Raiders have to trade back but I think they will have options as to who they want to trade back with, The best WR and LT could still be on the board.
They are loaded across the bay with draft picks. I'm going to predict that's who trades up and pays a kings ransom for Clemson WR Sammy Watkins. They pick at 30. This trade will be very similar to the Atlanta trading up for Julio Jones a few years ago. The 9ers have 2 2nd round picks and possibly 3 3rd round picks if they get the comp for Goldson.
The final trade will be Oaklands 1 (5) for SF's 1 (30), 1 (2015) 2( 56) 3 (77) 4 and a 4 (2015)
Let's start the mock
30. Trent Murphy DE/OLB Standford 6-6/255
He's a blue collar hard worker that's needed on the Dline. He's going to come to work and get better every day. The Raiders get him at 30 but would of took at 10.
36. Aaron Donald DT/LE Pitt 6-1/290
He's an every down player. He's a little undersized but makes up for it with his athleticism. He drew lots of a double teams in college and would cause havoc in between Lamar Houston and Pat Sims. Both Murphy and Donald can play in the 3-4.
56. Deone Bucannon S Washington St 6-1/216
The Raiders clearly go with the BPA on this one. Deone is a steal here who can lay wood. I know many like Usama Young but with Ross getting the job over him after Branch went down I'm not sure the coaching staff feels the same way. That being said maybe Young stays as C-Woods backup. But Deone would be the 3rd safety and his big hits could show up on special teams early. Branch hasn't played a full season in 2 years.
67. Gabe Jackson OG Mississippi St 6-4/340
It's not a mystery that the raiders need someone to move people on the oline. Jackson is a hoss that could challenge Briesel day one.
77. Stanly-Jean-Bapsiste CB Nebraska 6-3/215
His size and performance at the Senior bowl gets him picked a little too early then his tape shows. Will need to get stronger .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq-FztyrMqQ
102. Terrence West RB Towson 5-11 225
With Jennings expected to take over for DMC ( Already did this year) with that being said Jennings had some injury issues this year and last. Terrence West balled on D-2 schools on the reg might need a little time to get used to nfl competition but could with stud RBs coming out of nowhere this could be a huge steal.
125. C.J Fiedorowicz TE Iowa 6-6/260
With Rivera taking over a Hernandez type role the Raiders are still looking for the redzone target and blocker in the run game. C.J comes from Iowa where they teach you how to block. CJ would be better then Mastrud day 1 as a blocker and probably a receiver as well.
6th Andrew Jackson MLB Western Kentucky 6-1
Ray Lewis looking with slower speeds but hit power and leadership to make up for it. Held his own against Bama last year and LSU this year,I know dropping that far back would scare most but there's no QB at 5 and with Clowney gone they should drop back, 2 firsts next will help get the QB next year.
