So let's say hypothetically Clowney is off the board at this point and RM is looking to trade the #5 pick. San Francisco has 13(!!!) draft picks in the 2014 draft and will no doubt want to use some of those picks as leverage for players or moving up the board. So I say we give them the #5 pick as well as Tyrelle Pryor for San Francisco's 1st and maybe we can convince them to give up one of there 2nd rounds picks. TP would be a great backup for the organization because his skill set is very similar to CK, and would not need a different playbook if he's ever needed to step up. Hell we can throw in David Ausberry, and Juron Criner to sweeten the deal. They haven't done much for us and Greg Roman could find a use for them.
There is a lot of depth in the 2014 draft especially looking at second round values. Personally I agree with the philosophy of building from the trenches out, and having a pass rush is essential in today's NFL. This would give us a shot at 3 of these guys: Cyril Richardson, Trent Murphy, Aaron Donald, Jackson Jeffcoat, Gabe Jackson, Kon Ealy, Will Sutton, Vic Beasly.
I've got high hopes for the future of this organization (and so should you) just believe baby!
