With a lot of cap space, we have a lot of areas where I think the raiders can improve.
QB Josh McCown: With our 2 young QB's, I feel one of them is going to cut next year. No way we keep 3 QB's unless Pryor changes position to WR. McCown is one of my top picks because he shown he could win games this year. He has experience in the NFL and a reliable backup, If we do go QB in the draft, McCown is a good veteran to learn from. This year he had 13 TD's and 1 Interception while completing a great 66% of his throws. Having a good backup is just as good as having a good starter, look at green bay, without Rodgers Green Bay is not a threat.
RB Toby Gerhart: This guy depends on if Rashad is resigned, If resigned, having two bulls that grind for yards can wear and tear on that defense. Gerhart was AP's backup, and just like Rashad was MJD's backup, they are playing with a chip on their shoulder to prove that they can play. If Rashad isn't resigned, then of course we go with the BPA, Ben Tate. Still though, Gerhart can add more toughness toour backfield. Murray can be our home runner.
TE Jimmy Graham: Of Course this is a reach, and most likely he will resign with the saint's. That's if they can though with all their salary cap issues, Of course he is the best TE in the NFL, expect his contract to be bigger then the Gronk. Even though we have Rivera, Graham would be a HUGE upgrade.
G Kevin Boothe: One of AL's picks, he is 2-time champ and is reliable. Ranked #29/70 on best ranked guard on bleacher report. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1444315-br-nfl-1000-2013-top-70-guards/page/43. He will be a huge upgrade over Lucas Nix, who is the worst rated guard in the NFL.
OT Michael Oher: The Blindside, yes he is a free agent, signing this guy depends on Menelik Watson, I feel Watson should be our RT, but he has missed almost the whole season due to his bad calf. Both Watson and Oher can play any position on the line which shows the athleticism they both have.Oher has his false starts like Barnes, but is a way better pass protector and run blocker then Barnes.
WR Hakeem Nicks: With Rod Streater rising, Nicks is a true #1 WR. He can kill guys 1v1, and thats why we fail on 3rd down, because we never have a true #1 WR. This dude has to be our #1 Priority IMO for the offense, other then Jimmy Graham if he isn't resigned. Nicks got hands, speed and smooth route running, his only flaw is his injuries.
WR Emanuel Sanders: The play maker, i've watched this guy make huge plays, Put him in the slot, or the outside, this guy can get open. With Jacoby Ford fading away, Sanders can easily replace the explosiveness Ford once had.
WR Brandon Tate: Kick Returner, and he is dangerous in the open field, we are dying for a kick returner, we lack so much fire from the special teams and this dude is better then the aging Hester who is 31 at the moment. Ted Ginn Jr. is another option but if i had to choose it be for Tate, just for his open field moves.
