In what is certainly dismal news for Raiders hoping for current HC of the 49ers Jim Harbaugh to come across the bridge to become their coach of the future, Jim Harbaugh has been rumored by ESPN radio to have accepted the job as Michigan's new head coach at the end of the season.
.@marcelluswiley just said on ESPN radio that Jim Harbaugh has already signed his contract to coach at Michigan.

Their local news outlet is also reporting the story
Certainly, this is disappointing to Raider fans everywhere. Many had pegged Harbaugh as being a shoe in for the job. It was right across the bay, he would have his QB of the future in Derek Carr, a ton of money for free agency and some high draft picks. It would have been a perfect match.
Harbaugh appears to be unable to resist the freedom and salary provided to him by Michigan.
Sources: #Michigan has made another run at Jim Harbaugh after he initially rebuffed the school. U-M has made an offer of 6 years, $48M. Wow.

This now makes him the highest paid coach in college football.
The real question now for the Raiders is with Harbaugh off the table, who will become the new hot ticket name?
