2nd 'First Pick' Mock Draft

Once again, another mock draft for you to pull apart. I've tried to keep the trades as realistic as possible, which isn't easy, as a couple of runs through I did resulted in Chicago sending the farm to St Louis for the 2nd pick to select Aaron Donald, which, while the draft is unpredictable, I'd imagine it's not quite that wild.

My trades resulted in me trading the #5 pick to the Jets (as Sammy Watkins was available) for their #12, #43 and #74, which I felt was a realistic amount of picks.

Round 1 Pick 12 (NYG): Hasean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama - No premier D-Linemen, (Barr/Clowney) were still on the board, and I felt Clinton-Dix would instantly solidify our secondary. I did want to try and take a CB but I'm unsure that Gilbert or Dennard is worth a #12 pick.

Round 2 Pick 4: Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota - Big big man on the D-Line, provides us with a hopefully more productive Vance Walker clone.

Round 2 Pick 11 (NYG): Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame - Good production, have seen him go in a couple of first round sims on First Pick, felt it was good value here.

Round 3 Pick 3: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa - allows Rivera to focus primarily on receiving, gives us the ability to run or pass from two TE sets.

Round 3 Pick 10 (NYG): Craig Loston, SS, LSU - Again, heard some good things about this guy, provides depth/competition in our secondary.

Round 4 Pick 7: Weston Richburg, C, Colorado State - Impressed at Senior Bowl. Provides competition/depth behind Wisniewski - or could allow him to move to guard if that benefits our OLine.

Round 6 Pick 5: David Fales, QB, San Jose State - Competition for McGloin - I liked the look of him when I saw a couple of his games. Good release, ability to go downfield.

Round 7 Pick 4: Ricardo Allen, CB, Purdue - I wanted to take Ross Cockerell from Duke in the late 6th, but got my trade values wrong, so had to settle for Allen here.

Round 7 Pick 20: Vinnie Sunseri, SS, Alabama - reunite him and Clinton-Dix, Alabama is a decent program, he should come into the NFL fairly coached up, should again provide depth.

Feel free to tear apart again! This offseason is dragging already!
