The combine measurements are in. Most measurements on the board are actually accurate but two of the top three quarterback prospects measured differently than their college numbers suggested -- One good, one not so good.
In an odd and rare case, UCF quarterback Blake Bortles came in TALLER than his college measurement. He was listed between 6-3 and 6-4 in college and measured a statuesque 6-5 at the combine.
The times when colleges tend to tweak the measurement is when a player' actual height is considered short. Up to this point, most scouting reports had Johnny Manziel at 6-1. His official combine measurement has him at about 5-11.5. Not good news for Manziel who has much to prove at the combine to be deemed worthy of a top five pick. He is the only quarterback at the combine to not crack 6-0.
Here is the complete listing of QB measurements:
NOTE: Height is listed using the scout method for height, IE 6024. The first numbers is feet (6 = 6 feet). The next number is full inches with a leading zero (02, so 6'2") and the final number is an eighth of an inch. This means someone listed at 6024 would be 6'2" and 1/2".
