The Raiders have re-signed offensive guard Lamar Mady, a team official confirmed Friday. Mady was an exclusive rights free agent after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent last off-season. He returns to the club on a one-year $495,000 deal according to Scott Bair of CSN Bay Area.
Mady was a priority free agent, signing with the Raiders on April 29, the day after the NFL draft. The Junior college transfer was a 2-year starting guard for Youngstown State. He was projected as a mid to late round draft pick but went undrafted.
He appeared in seven games last season, stepping in at both right and left guard in relief of the starters. He becomes the first player to re-sign with the team this off-season.
