So I have loosely followed what happened with Incognito and Martin. First off it's pathetic that a grown man was "bullied". It's clear that Robert Martin flat out lied about some of the thing's that happened. Yes Incognito is a typical football player with a bad attitude and a foul mouth, but after reading the text conversation's between the 2 he was not as abusive as the pussified media would lead you to believe. After watching this interview that he gave about the ferrari bashing I think Incognito is getting thrown under the bus. The "report" the leage PAID to have done is complete BS. The NFL will go to extreme's to protect the image of the league, nothing is more important than the SHIELD to them. Ofcourse both coaches and players in that locker room are all trying to save face, that report is garbage as far as i'm concerned.
We all know Tony Sparano has coached Incognito before, we also know we could use a few more talented bodies on the O-line, and Incognito has Pro-Bowl skill's. I think it would be foolish for the Raider's to not pursue Incognito later in the off season. Even if Reg and Tony just take him to a dinner and test the water's. It would also be pretty awesome if we signed him and Martin end's up actually making the 9er's roster (doubt he will he is a sub-par player). Yes I am aware he could be a potential locker room problem, but with veterans like Tuck Smith and Woodley I doubt this guy would get away with anything out of line. If we structure the contract correctly we can cut him at the first sign of trouble, or we could wind up with a solid O-line and give him the chance to bounce back from this over blown controversy. What do you think Nation??/
