How about we trade our 2nd round pick to the Eagles for Desean Jackson? He is due $10.5 million this year, but his actually cap hit and salary go down the next two years. He's due $9,750,000 in 2015,and $8,250,000 in 2016. Obviously he's going to cost more than what drafting Watkins at #5 would cost us, but the upside is there's no gamble involved as far as what kind of player he's going to be, we know exactly what we're getting and the defenses will know exactly what's in store for them. He'll be our #1 receiver with James Jones as our #2, rounded out by a now deadly Streater, Holmes, and Moore in the 3, 4, and 5 spots for an absolutely explosive 4 and 5 wide receiver set. And if Clowney doesn't fall to #5, we can always trade back and pick up another 2nd, we still have positions that could use depth or starters, players like: Aaron Donald and Nix depending on what type of DT we need, or C.J. Mosley to play middle linebacker and move Roach back outside. Any of the top 3 corners in the draft, either of the top safeties Pryor or Ha Ha dix, or we can draft either of the guards Yankey and Filo. We have a lot of areas that can be improved upon, and if we still choose to go pass rushing defensive ends we'll have our choice between Ford and Kony Ealy. With approximately $40 million in Cap space left and only about $6 million needed to sign our draft class, the best case scenario for us is the release of Vince Wilfork and/or a huge frontloaded contract for Alex Mack that would move Wiz back to guard. So many different options and possibilities, there's no question that not only will we be a different looking team next year, but a highly competitive one at that.
