The old saying goes, if you can't beat em, sign em. The new era Raiders front office seems to have turned this philosophy upside down by signing players that they have beaten. Repeatedly. Look at these signings and see if you spot a trend:
Mike Brisiel - Signed in 2012 after getting ABUSED by the Raiders D Line in the infamous "10th man" game the day after AL died.
LaMarr Woodley - Signed in 2014 after biting on Terrelle Pryor's fake handoff to be subsequently torched for an NFL record 93 yd TD run.
Matt Schaub - Signed in 2014 after being intercepted or thwarted by Raiders secondary during the final drive of the game in both 2011 and 2013.
Could the new Raiders front office have cracked the code on a new recruiting theory that will forever change the NFL?
Maybe I'm just old school, but when I have a chance to take a player from another team, I'm going after the guy that was killing us...not the one we killed.
