It's becoming writing in the wall that the raiders might let Veld walk in FA. With all our needs for the team, why not an OT at 5? Everyone says we need play makers, why not Robinson or Matthews to build the trenches? The value you get out of college players will indeed be revealed in time, and after the collapse of the offense line in 2013, why the hell not get a corner stone to protect your future franchise qb? I would be happy if we got either to tell you the truth, why over spend and reach out for another QB that will possibly be hit or miss? I personally find better value at drafting a play maker at 5 that will have immediate impact and can be a starter at day one, and a value pick in the 2nd or 3rd for QB (Garoppolo or possibly Carr). I know it's not very popular for us picking up a lineman, but if Bridgewater and Clowney are off the board at 5, why no go for the next player available in the draft that is also a huge gapping need for our team as well?
