Hi S and B community. Decided to join in the fun and do my own mock draft. So many good choices and so few picks. As you will see there is no QB on my draft list, as I wouldn’t draft one this year at all, Shaub for this year maybe next, and with McLovin’ a decent back up. I’d rather take advantage of all the talent out there. As far as my first two rounds, if Watkins is gone and Mack is there, go with b) both rounds, but if Sammy is there, go with a). Hopefully we can move back in the draft (in any rounds) to pick up more picks, I will list extra’s at the bottom and round they should be available. Enjoy!
a) a)- WR- Sammy Watkins- Can’t pass on this guy if there.
b) b)-OLB- Khalil Mack- Love this guy, paired with Juice on other side... Really nice!
a) -DE/DL- Stephen Tuitt- Versatile pick, both dl and de, could drop to second.
b) -WR- Jordan Matthews- A no. 1 in the second round, more you study, more you like!
G- Dakota Dozier- Athletic and could play either tackle or guard, high ceiling.
FS/SS- Dion Baily- Again, versatile, instinctive, will do anything for team. Woodson’s protégé.
RB- D’Anthony Thomas- Specialist, change of pace, worth a flier in 7th.
DE- Michael Sam- And why not? He might drop this far, kid has guts and heart, and the Raiders have always championed diversity, if he doesn’t pan out, well, hell, we gave him a try, practice squad, if he does work out and plays even halfway to his college days, a steal in the 7th.
Extra’s (players I like if we can pick up some picks)-
Rounds 2-3- RB- Jeremy Hill
DT- Daniel McCullers
CB- Keith McGill
Rounds 3-5- CB- Bashaud Breeland
ILB- Max Bullock
CB- Stan the man the Babtist
Rounds 5-7- TE- Colt Lyerla
DE- Aaron Lynch
WR- Brandon Coleman
