Reggie McKenzie came into the offseason with a major question mark in terms of was he properly rebuilding this franchise and would he not only be successful in free agency, but would he nail the 2014 draft which is going to be critical to Reggie's long term plan.
In my opinion Reggie not only nailed the offseason, but drafting Jelly Bean Ellis and Keith McGill in the 4th round was the icing on the cake to a great draft.
I'm absolutely thrilled with the development of this team over the past three months. Reggie was being genuine and honest when he said this was going to be a year of reconstruction. Reggie said one of the team's primary goals in the offseason was to beef up the trenches and it's definitely been beefed up with the additions of Gabe Jackson and Jelly Bean Ellis.
I've been a Reggie supporter for quite awhile and have been saying this draft was either going to solidify his grip on the GM position or it was going to be the nail in his coffin. I think he solidified it. What do you think?
