As some of you may or may not be aware of star Wide Receiver of the Houston Texans, Andre Johnson has come out to reporters and said he is "unsettled" with his organization, and who could blame him. He's 32 years old turning 33 before the start of next season and is one of the top 5 receivers in the past decade, but yet he only has 2 playoff appearances in his possible HOF career. So rumors are the aging wide out doesn't want to be a part of a rebuilding phase. While reporters and the front office of the Texans are trying to gather all the facts about Johnson, early reports say Houston are seeking a 1st round pick in return which won't happen because Johnson isn't 26 years old anymore, so if you're the Texans what do you do from there if no one bits for Andre Johnson-1st round pick exchange. Maybe seek a team that's willing to give up a 2nd round pick which also might be hard to find. Now where do you go, he's owed $15+M for the next season so it wouldn't be surprising if he gets cut. And if does get cut the 1st team should give him a call SHOULD be the raiders, for those of you that haven't heard Andre Johnson's former QB is the raiders new QB Matt Schaub. Okay i know what you guys are thinking Oakland needs true #1 WR which could be filled by Johnson if available. The problem is with raiders signing No. 5 overall pick Khalil Mack to 4 yr. $18.68 M, that leaves the raiders with a little more than $7 M in cap space according to http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/oakland-raiders/cap/ and 7 drafted players left to sign that might leave the raiders with only $3.5 M left after signing the new players. So the main point I'm trying to make it is very well possible that Andre Johnson could become available to the raiders but it's a bit of a stretch he gets the contract he wants in Oakland, but if playoffs and Super Bowls are his expectations then why not Oakland?
