IT’S GO TIME!!! SO, LET'S GO OVER-THE-TOP!!!
Just to show and prove that like anyone else here on Sliver & Black who writes comments and posts, I know absolutely squat about drafting NFL prospects. We just like to mess around with the reports, videos and all of the golly-gee-whiz research, but damn... it is entertaining.
Let’s cut to the bare bones…
I have only ONE primary pick per round with two optional picks; three optional picks for the empty 5th and 6th Rounds.
OPTIONAL PICKS??? Wha-chew talkin'bout, Willis??
These cover any draft day, spur-of-the-moment trading, player availability or additional picks obtained.
Gotta cut some flexibility, right?
BOLD = my personally, overly studied and totally unequivocal draft selection.
The positional breakdown is:
QB: 1 WR: 3 TE: 1 RB: 2 FB: 1 OT: 3 OG: 2 OC: 0 K: 0
DE: 1 DT: 1 OLB: 3 ILB: 2 CB: 2 FS: 2 SS: 3 P: 0
Surprisingly, it came out pretty balanced: 13 offensive picks; 14 defensive picks.
SO LET'S TOSS IT AROUND IN THESE FEW DAYS BEFORE MAY 8th!
Review my draft over-under-sideways and down; rip it up; dissect it; adore it or pull it down and stomp on it.
Hopefully, you will all create your own drafts and publish them before the 8PM Thursday draft.
And yes, the Evaluation Committee will be checking time-stamps!!
Then we will compare how many selections were dead-on or missed by a country mile.
I've been a Raider fan since 1965...still going strong.

not for nothing, but I'm taking a long-shot that RM or DA (with suggestion by Mark Davis) might choose the sentimental pick of George Atkinson III. Probably in the 7th Round, or they'll invite him to a free-agent camp. Just for old times sake. Yet, it wouldn't be a token pick, GA3 is a good prospect and may surprise a number of pundits.
