From Mile high country tonight - I am just stunned by the adroitness of our GM tonight - what a start. I said prior to the draft that Mac needed to get us three starters minimum. I think he has accomplished this and more - we got an extra 4th rounder, moving down in the third to get Jackson.
So now round four we have two picks (which might end up becoming additional picks in the lower rounds). What value is here.
Is there value at DT? CB? WR? S? Yes. I believe the Raiders picking at 107 and 116 can get incredible value at two - if not three of these positions. Again by trading down to pick up additional picks or, by standing pat.
At CB - Terrence Mitchell, Marcus Roberson, Breshaud Breland, Jaylen Watkins, Craig Loston, Pierre Desir and Deon Bailey all offer excellent value with third round grades on Walter Football Big Board.
At DT - Dequan Jones from Penn State (who is my choice at 107), and Kelcy Quarles could fortify the interior Dline
At WR - Martavious Bryant, DeAnthony Thomas, and Jared Abbrederis could bring excitement to our already strong corps.
My prediction is Dequan Jones - a stout run stuffer who is a really good value here and could help bring depth and a future starting mate with McGee.
I really think RM trades down with the pick acquired from the Dolphins to secure additional pick/s while dropping further down in the fourth.
Surprise player would be Lache Seastrunk - RB our of Baylor. Kory Sheets wrote his death certificate with the DWI.
