Shelby's Strip Sack

I looked at the replay and here is what I noticed. First, McGee and Jelly stunt, Shelby goes hard backside, and Mack keeps containment once he sees Shelby is close to the sack. McGee and Jelly can beat one on one blocks so this is a good sign because one of the two will get a push. In this play, the free LG almost completely fails to block anyone because the stunt starts away from him. Eventually he gets a speeding Jelly in his face.

Mack and Harris both rush. Although Mack's hands don't slap the blocker's grab as quickly as Harris, once Harris is in the backfield, he keeps containment and jumps for the pass block.

I was telling my friends that if Mack can slap the hands before they grab him, he'll be faster and shed blocks quicker. Turns out when you look at Harris, his hands quickly attack the blockers hands and he isn't slowed down. With Bridgewater's speed though, it maybe the way the play was drawn up, with Mack holding containment as the backside pressure flushed TB.

Also, early in the game's first goal line stand, the DTs seemed to be Ninja and Sims. I assume in the regular season, there will be two big guys with Smith on the outside.
