What happened to Rich/Noontide?
— Greetings, Nation. It's been a while since I've frequented this site but I've been coming to this site since 2008 and always enjoyed his witty sarcasm. I've been so busy with school, work and music that I haven't had the chance to be among my fellow Raider brethren. Upon my return, I see a new staff writer that I think I recognize from another Raider blog, but no sign of Rich.
Levi appears to be doing a fantastic job here and I'd like to belatedly congratulate him on his ascension within this blog, and the excellent work I've seen from him so far.
But even with that, I do wonder where Noon/Rich disappeared to and if he'll ever come back around these parts. Dude had one of the greatest senses of humor and an unnatural ability to be fair and objective. Wherever he is, I hope he is doing well and is still making us proud to call him a Raider brother.
That said, how have things been in here the last year or so?

Rock Cartwright leaving Raiders, crossing the bay to 49er-ville. This would be a huge loss to the Team leadership, and probably the first thing to happen in recent weeks that has me scratching my head.
Per Bill Williamson of ESPN:
"NFL Network is reporting the 49ers will sign Oakland special-teams ace Rock Cartwright, pending a physical. Cartwright was a pivotal part of the Raiders’ locker room. The loss would sting some."

Could Reece replace Bush as our backup RB?
— Given the workload and miles racked up on Michael Bush; it would seem his shelf life is closing in on its expiration date. Looking at our current roster, I couldn't help but wonder if Reece could step up and take on a heavy portion of Bush's workload? I also expect Taiwan Jones to help fill the void if Bush leaves via Free Agency. I don't see the Raiders putting the franchise tag on Bush (8.5 million dollars) backing up McFadden.
Is this a bad idea or do you like the suggestion?

Who the hell is Lonyae Miller? I'm on Madden 12 the other day and I was looking at the depth charts. I go to the running backs and some guy named Lonyae Miller is like our 5th string running back. I never heard of him, when did we sign him?
