When the annoucers get angry
at one of your offensive line guys, it is pretty dang bad.

Sims, you're better than that...hopefully.

We "Could" Have won:
But should NOT have won.

It is the same old story.

Heavy pressure, key drops, non-exhistant safeties, no run D. LaMont is a terrible running back, when he's hurt.

11 OFFENSIVE PENALTIES!!! Mike Williams drops key passes.

The problem is that the team is not good enough to expect to win games. They are good enough to hope to win any game.

That is more than we had last year...Hope, that is.

I'm sick about all the chances the Titans gave us
in the fourth quarter that we couldn't cash in on because of the Offense.

We are so on the verge on being a good team, but it feels like we'll never get that yard to greatness.

Our offense wears this loss today
How about Sims and his four penalties?

If your team has 100 penalty yards and about 40 percent on them can be tacked on a guy with a Captain C on his jersey, the math yields that the player in question should get his ass on the bench.

How about the running game?

Did we not know that we would be facing off against a great run defense today? Yet despite of this we refuse to utilize play action enough to throw the D off.

What about C-Pep in pressure?

We get the ball back deep in our territory...oh no, I fumbled the ball!! Oh, I get the ball back after fucking that up. I'm lucky my defense held the Tenn Tits to a field goal...oh no, I underthrow a ball to Porter instead of throwing past him!! Well, I was lucky to get the ball back at MIDFIELD with plenty of time left...

Well we all know how that ends.

With the exception of the lack of play action, I think Kiffen coached well enough to pull out a win. Also, our defense played like warriors. If it wasn't for C-Pep fumbling the ball deep in our own territory, we would have won with a sure kick from SeaBass.

I'm calling this season a wash. I didn't want to say this for the longest time, but I want to see JaMarcus lose for us in a learning effort. How much can he learn by watching C-Pep lose the ball in Tenn's Red Zone?

Time to start our draft clock for a few new O-Line .

3 games, 2 offensive TD's
how is this year different than last year?  For all the heat that Shell took last year I don't see where this year is improved.  Jordan still getting the ball 16 times for 17 yds.  It is time to give JaMarcus some experience, I don't think it will make a difference in wins/losses but he is the QB of the future, might as well get him the experience now rather than wait until next year and lose another season because he is not experienced.

Amen to that, brother!
I have a telltale sign on my fantasy loss this week.

Me: Daunte Culpepper, -3 Fantasy points

Opponent: Cleo Lemons, 5 Fantasy points

When a backup player is doing well on the farthest away game of the season, it is time for a change.

Let us invest in JaMarcus now so he pays dividends next year!

I for one, DON'T want to see Jamarcus
behind this line.  This team is a lot better than last year, but the line, although improved, is still a big minus.  Kiffin has to find some lineman this offseason, so we can start with a new line, and a seasoned Jamarcus.  I think they need to bring Grove in at center, and move Newberry to one of the guards, since Newberry probably will not return next year.  He has proved he is healthy enough to warrant more money, than I think he is worth.  I also think you should take a look and see what Mario Henderson, and Johnny Lee Huggins can do.  Put Mcclown back in, and let him get killed, while they work out the kinks.  Noone should have expected anymore than to be competitive, and win 5-7 games this year.  If you did, you are more of a fan, than a realist.

Here's a novel thought
Give Rhodes and Fargas more carries and rest LaMont up for tough yards.

Turn opposing D-line into swiss cheese so LaMont can run through the holes.

I still don't get how a relatively fresh Rhodes is relegated to kick return duties.

I agree 100%
What was the point of signing Rhodes if you were not going to play him?  Almost every other team has a back who can break off a long run, Jordan just cannot do that, plus think he misses the hole a lot of the time anyway.
