Can we find a Safety who can tackle, although
that was a block in the back on Nhamdi, Huff should have had him

It was such an obvious
penalty on Nambi, but then again the week before an obvious interference on Porter, I am not a conspiracy theorist but it does seem odd that the Raiders rarely get a break on penalties.  In the same game that Porter got interfered with Carr was called on a holding penalty which was highly questionable, by the same guy who didn't see the penalty on Porter.  And while I am venting, please explain why Nhambi got called for offsides?  Yes, he might have been offsides I don't know but for god sakes, a defensive back who is back pedaling gets called for that?  I understand a defensive lineman getting called for it, he is rushing the passer but a defensive back going backwards.  The ref should have walked over to Nhambi after the play and tell him that you are lining up offsides, be a little more careful next time.  No harm, no foul, that is the way it should be.

Tough day
I really do hope a JaMarc training camp and some good draft picks are all this team needs next year.

I expect more than a few picks put toward USC talent.

It wouldn't be difficult finding
defensive players to release. My god, it was awful watching the defense in this game. To think that Washington, Routt, Huff, Buchanon, Gibson were all first round picks and other than Nhambi none of them are any good.   Every week we hear the same thing, have to tackle, have to maintain position, every week the other team runs for 300 yds.  On the other hand if the team does decide to pass they complete them easily.  I can't figure it out, the Raiders cannot seem to get a player open to complete a pass, the other teams does it easily against Oakland.  Kiffin has his hands full, this roster needs a major turnover.  I liked what I saw with JaMarcus.  He went to Porter too much but that is understandable. He was under siege most of the game, but he does throw a nice pass with no effort.  I also that Rhodes ran very well, I would pick him over Fargas if I had to make a choice, he is much more elusive.  The Raiders need some hitters in the secondary, and one more linebacker.

Bad
You are right! We should do a good job at defense. But we didn't. Bad day!
