We're in it for the long haul with him.  He was ALWAYS about the future.  He was too undeveloped to have started this year even if he had signed on draft day.  But the sheer amount of raw talent he posseses is staggering and if he develops like he can, he'll be one of the great ones in a few years.

God, I hope so.

I wouldn't mind if this team just plain sucked.  But we shoot ourselves in the ass ALL THE TIME.  Half of our defeats are self-inflicted.

Did Kiff make a mistake by not having Rhodes as primary backup instead of Jordan?

Further question for discussion at some future date:  Do we cut Jordan and let Fargas go, since I suspect he'll be able to get more money on the free agent market next year than we'll be able to pay and pin our running hopes on Bush and Rhodes?

I guess I just don't get the awesomeness of the west coast offense.

What a joke.  I'm not asking to go keep on every play, but 12 and 15 yard passes would be nice every once in a while.

The run defense steps up today, forcing S.D. to pass and that seems to go pretty well.

Ah well, down 14-7 going into halftime is not so bad.  Still a very winnable game!
