Raider Re-Cap: Daunte Takes The Dolphins to His INFERNO

Daunte's day started with a three and out and ended with his third rushing touchdown of the day.

Daunte threw for two touchdowns and rushed for three against the team and the Coach that cut him.

It is the final play of the day that has me buzzing more than any other play.

With the Raiders already up by 11 points and only 33 seconds left, most teams would just kick the field goal and take the win.

Not Lane Kiffin...He chose to let Daunte RUN the BALL DOWN THE DOLPHINS THROAT and send his rushing team to a 300 yard day.

Daunte had HIS day and had HIS way against the Dolphins.

In fact, if not for a couple of dropped balls by Curry his day would have been even better.

(My battery is dying)

Much more to talk about, including our first road win in two years.

Even with Daunte's inferno
The revenge our Raiders helped give him was served soooo cold...

The Raiders are getting back to prominence under the Son of Monte and the Niners are getting exposed by the Seahawks.

I'm hoping for a Seahawk shut out.

Congrats to Saint for setting up a 100+ post thread.

It's a good day.

Ray-Dahs!!!!!!!
This was a dominating performance.  We absolutely owned this game.  We blew our first opportunity to put the game away when Higgins fumbled the punt return, but stayed composed and ran the ball down their throats!

Miami is terrible and we will have to play better to beat most NFL teams, especially the run defense.  We'll worry about that the rest of the week.  For now celebrate the win Raider Nation we are tied for first in the AFC West!

The run defense wasn't really that bad,
the stats say Brown had 134 yards, but he had 60 on one play, which means the rest of the game, he had 14 carries and 70 yards.

14/70
Still 5 yards per carry, while the NFL average hovers around 4.1 YPC.  It seems worse if you think of the screen passes as part of the running game like I tend to.
