Oakland Raiders BREAKING News: The Oakland Raiders Will Draft 4th

It looks like all of the draft boards were right. Even though it was a 50-50 shot that the Oakland Raiders would have the #3 pick, it looks like everybody already knew we would be drafting fourth.

The ATL GM called tails in the air. I wonder IF the Raiders examined the coin afterward in order to determine IF there even WAS a head on it???

It was probably fixed but
from where I sit it is still academic.  There will be a very good player sitting at #4. I still believe that one of the top 3 teams will draft a QB because they need a QB.  If they don't pick one then, then a QB will not be there when they draft at #31 or so.
And even if they don't, then the Raiders get either Jake Long, Chris Long, Dorsey or Ellis, what is wrong with that?  I would take any of the 4 guys still sitting there.  On the other hand if Dallas really wants McFadden, they may be tempted to take the Raiders pick for two firsts which is also great.  All you have to do is check 1st round picks over the past 10 years to see how many "sure fire" players did nothing in the NFL, it is still a crap shoot.
Of course we can't rule out the possibility that one of the 3 teams might take McFadden which gives the Raiders even more of a choice.  The Raiders need some good players and the draft is a place to find them, the more picks the better.  I am a little concerned that Kiffin has not been heard from, guess he went to the combine today but he hasn't spoken in weeks, not a good sign.

Damn it
As I always say:

Tails never Fails!!

Somehow I knew we weren't getting #3.

I'm still hopeful for the draft and free agency, and most important out of all this, I'm still in.

The Raider Nation is the only Nation.
