I'm sitting here on the deck of our timeshare in Solvang, sipping a Pilsner in the 72 degree weather and smiling about all of the teams that I am passionate about.

The OAKLAND Raiders have DOMINATED the NFL off-season to this point (No matter what the Haters Say), the OAKLAND Warriors just broke hearts of 18,000 LA fans (Even "Jack" told "Jax" that he was the better "Jack" last night) and the OAKLAND A's are set to kick off the MLB Season on National TV against the hated Red Sox (Nation Poseurs...They all know that Raider Robb started the first Nation when he called us the Raider Nation 10 years ago).

All is well in the Nation...The EBN (East Bay Nation) is sticking it to the ESPN (Eastern Sports Poseur Nation) and I am feeling the LOVE that is shining down on our little Town that COULD!!!

It is as bright as the sun that is warming my face...And my beer...!!!

I have the same feelings about the teams

you do, but I also add the Sharks who I like a lot also.
All of our teams have good futures, the Warriors finally got themselves out of "cap hell", and if Nellie ever decides to use his young players there is some good talent there also. Wright is going to be special, and hopefully Bellinelli will rediscover his shot when he gets a better chance to play, next year I assume.
The A's have tons of good young players, so the next few years should be fun also.
And our beloved Raiders are just a QB away, hopefully we have the QB already. My only concern about the Raiders is the Al-Lane impasse. It has to be resolved within the next few weeks, one way or the other.

My only question is whether

you were a Spurs fan 15 years ago? My only complaint about people is that they are fans of teams who happen to be winning at the time but are they fans forever or just when they win? I have a good friend who is a Phillies fan but he loved the Phillies when they were awful, never wavered, never changed, I respect that. To be a Warriors fan is to mean that you have more losing seasons than winning seasons, more disappointment than pure joy, but that is what is fun about it, same with the A's. Always the underdog, but a fan nevertheless. Being a Raiders fan used to mean winning all the time, lately it has been more losing than winning, but our time will come again.

i personally can't stand the east coast press and all their bias bullshit as well as some of the local haters. (ray ratto, san fran cronicle)

i would like to change the subject and talk about the rumor about dallas. i heard that jerry jones wants to trade their two #1's and marion barber for the raiders #1 and dominic rhodes, is this true? what do you think the impact, if it goes through, will be? what are we looking at as far as our first round picks then? i could go on with questions, but you get the picture.

Emile Brown......I Hate You!!!

So I stayed up last night to watch the A's opener in Tokyo against the Red Sox. My problem is not that the A's lost the game, but HOW they lost. Street blows a save, so whats new? I can't blame him, as he is young, and we knew what we were getting from him. He will blow 20% of the save chances he gets, and this is just one.

The kicker is Emile Brown! His Bush League base running blunder in the 10th inning, the tying run making the 2nd out at 3rd base trying to stretch a double, cost the A's the game.

Thats what you get when you take a chance signing Royals! We got a little lucky getting Sweeney, but getting two decent [layers from the Royals is too much to ask of the most worthless baseball franchise in the world.

I will be up again tonight, and I expect the A's to lose, but if they lose bad again, I will explode. I can't take a year of this shit!
