Oakland Raiders News: J-Russ and Cutler To Battle On MNF Opener

http://www.nfl.com/kickoff/story?id=09000d5d8077fc99&template=with-video&confirm=true

After being snubbed from National TV last year, the Oakland Raiders will be hosting Denver in Week One on ESPN!!!

This would be a GREAT coming out party for D-Mac AND Russell.

I have the over under on Javon Walker's numbers at 10 catches for 120 yards!!!

BRING ON THE DONKEYS!!!!

RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAIIIIIIDDDDDDEEEERRRRRSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Al must have told Goodell he was going to
draft McFadden, and Goodell wants to get him on TV as soon as possible.

LOL
Ya Al Davis just the person I see being friendly with the Commisioner of the NFL... Somehow I don't see it.

Going to be a great game.

Week one win
Unless the Broncos have some kind of surge in the draft/FA this is an easy win. Jay Cutler and the Donkey's O-line are good believe it or not. However, Cutler will be unable to pass on our ultimate secondary. They may be able to run on us though. The  Donkeys run the same ZB scheme we do and we all know how great it is. Unless the Law Firm can stop the RB we might face some problems. Dre Bly isn't a great crner like he once was, so as long as we avoid Bailey passing should be easy. I don't even think I need to mention how we would run all over them because of good OL, RB and the weak run D of the declining Donkeys. The Raiders will come out of the gate strong at 1-0.

Score Prediction: Raiders: 35 Broncos: 10

Great Game!
I will not get cocky here, but I do predict a huge win. What a way to get ahead of the division. This game will determine how the season will unfold. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!

My recollection is that
2 years ago the Raiders opened on Monday night against the Chargers and got smoked 29-0 or something like that so you won't hear me making any predictions about an easy win.  I do feel that this might be a coming back party however. It is a team we can beat, and it is not a great team.  I would feel a lot less confidence if it was played in Denver.

Win should set the tone for the rest of the season
Will Brandon Marshall be at 100% though???
It doesn't really matter does it? our secondary would blanket him regardless
Our run D will be tested, looking forward to Mcfadden's first start and touchdown(s)

The next season is like Star Wars
it's "A New Hope."

I'm not going to do the packfan thing and make boasts about my team that they might not be able to back up, but I feel better than I have about my Gridiron Death Dealers than I have in a long time.

The Raider Nation is the only Nation.
