I need a Bloody Mary...Seriously. I got a tear in my eye when I heard the news that Nnamdi is leaving Oakland.

Apparently he did not live up to his contract and there is an option that automatically  terminates it?!?! Please say it isn't so!

His effect on the city of Oakland will be gone? He is more than just a Raider, he is hope for all of the children in Oakland and if he really does leave the impact will run deeper than just football.

(UPDATE: Nnamdi's contract was automatically voided due to terminology that stated if he did not have as many defensive reps in 2010 as in 2009 or increase either his interception, fumble recovery or sack total he would be unconditionally released. Nnamdi is now a Free Agent)
