Cleveland is 25th in rushing yards allowed per game. They are not playing as badly on run D as that number suggests though. They have faced the 29th most rushing attempts per game.

Cleveland is averaging a solid 4 yards allowed per carry. This is 13th in the NFL. They have done this by limiting open field yards. They are 10th in second level yards and 12th in open field yards.

Teams are succeeding 78 percent of the time in power situations. That is 26th in the NFL. They are stuffing only 18 percent of runs. That is 21st in the NFL.

This is not a good way to try and contain Darren McFadden. DMC is deadly if he can get past the line of scrimmage untouched.

The Raiders should be able to pop for a big run or two to the outside left. The Browns are dead last in the NFL on these runs. More often than not, when the Raiders go big in the run game it comes from the outside left.
