2011 NFL Draft: Greg McElroy Would Be A Steal In The 5th Round

If there were ever a complete opposite of JaMarcus Russell, it would be former Alabama QB, Greg McElroy. I am sure by now that you have all heard about his near genius level Wonderlic test results of 48.

You probably already know that he won a National Championship in College. What you may not know is that he never lost a game in High School, was a Rhodes Scholar finalist and did not throw an interception in his final 116 career attempts, finishing with a 20-5 TD/INT ratio and 2,978 yards in 2010.

So, why is he ranked as a fifth round selection? Beats me. Maybe it is his forty time or the fact that he wasn't able to throw at the combine, but, to me, he is definitely worth a fifth round pick.
