2011 NFL Draft Results: Oakland Raiders Select David Ausberry with Final Selection

David Ausberry, welcome to the Oakland Raiders. The last selection for the Oakland Raiders in the 2011 NFL Draft is USC WR, David Ausberry. Well, he is listed as a WR, but I saw him listed as a TE and a FB for USC. He certainly has college TE or FB size at 6'3" and 233 pounds. In the few highlights I saw of Ausberry he was split out as a wide receiver. You know a prospect is not on the radar when he is clearly lined up as a WR in highlights, but two sites have him listed as a TE and FB

There is not a lot of information on Mr. Ausberry and considering he is very close to being this year's Mr. Irrelevant I guess that is understandable. Anyway the guy has great size for a receiver. In these few highlights he lets the ball get into his body too much, and you don't see a lot in the way of route running. And I don't even know this guy's 40 time! How can the Raiders draft anyone whose 40 time is not readily available!

Not much in the way of critique for me on this pick. These guys aren't even expected to make the team so there is absolutely zero risk.

Ausberry finished his Trojan career with 60 catches for 700 yards and seven touchdowns.
