NFL Lockout: Resolution Day Predictions

New, comments

NFL lockout news seems to be on a bit of an upswing. Well, unless you are a lawyer—then things are not going your way at all. But for everyone else recent developments can certainly be seen as a positive. The two combative sides met last week, and they have already met again this week!

While I remained skeptical about any progress being made last week the fact that they met again this week, and have plans to do so again next are a sign that something constructive is happening.

There are also numerous quotes from people who claim to be in the know similar to this one found in the NY Daily News:

I think it is serious that they are talking and both sides are working hard," a source told the Daily News. "There is lots of effort and building goodwill and maybe less suspicion. Full engagement by both sides." The source added that there is a lot of work to do but they are "trying to build a process" and establish momentum.

So, let's try this poll thing again. I am curious if these developments have accelerated your projections. I can happily say they did mine. Last poll, I voted for September—I am going August this time, and I am very close to voting for July.
