Raiders' Darrius Heyward-Bey Among NFL's Elite

Hey everybody! Check this out! Darrius Heyward-Bey is ranked 15th in an offseason list ranking players based on their overall performance! Unfortunately, it is ranking the worst players in the league. Grantlands' Bill Barnwell ranked the 25 worst players in the NFL, and the incomprable "-" cracked the list.

Here is what Barnwell had to say:

Heyward-Bey actually raised his catch rate (the percentage of passes intended for a receiver that the player actually caught) last year! Too bad it only got up to 41 percent, which was still the lowest rate in the league for a player with 50 or more targets.

This is a pretty embarrassing honor for "-". He can take solace in the fact that he isn't ranked as the worst WR in the AFC West. That honor goes to the Chiefs Chris Chambers. He checks in at No. 11. Bey also isn't the worst player in the Bay Area. That honor goes to the 49ers Anthony Davis. He checks in at No. 3.

DHB has been horrible, but I think the 15th worst player in the NFL is a little much. Bey does things solid that don't show up on the stat sheets. He is an excellent blocker and he always plays hard. These are pretty pathetic things for a No. 7 overall selection, but I think it is enough to warrant him a little more favorable ranking here.

Whatever, I'm not going to argue over the ranking. He needs to get better. I like DHB. I'll really like him if he gets better, and if he doesn't I won't like him so much if he continues to play.

Maybe he can use this to help fuel him to success. i am sure he caught the news of his ranking. Of course, that would be the first thing he's caught ( sorry, I couldn't help myself).
