Oakland Raiders' Chris Johnson Approval Rating

Preparing for the horrible, but very possible, reality that Nnamdi Asomugha is leaving I posted a poll on our thoughts about Stanford Routt. What I wanted to know is how comfortable we were with him taking over the No. 1 corner duties. Only 20 percent of us were filled with fright while thinking about it. 46 percent of us had no reservations, and another 36 percent said we could do worse.

That's not bad. Percentages say he will be a solid a replacement. But that is only part of the equation. It does little good to have a solid No. 1 corner, if the No. 2 plays like an open window instead of a closed door.

Right now, the Raiders are staring at have Chris Johnson play the No. 2 corner spot. It is a position he is very familiar with, and we are familiar seeing him there. For the most part, I would say that CJ has played at about an average level for a No. 2 corner. He has had his ups and downs and he is coming off an injury riddled season that never really saw him get on track.

If he is healthy, I say we could do worse, but his ability to stay healthy worries me. What do you say?
