Gauging the sentiment of people talking about Terrelle Pryor, I'd say the Oakland Raiders are the most likely to land Terrel Pryor in the NFL supplemental draft. I don't think they will, but Al Davis is always full of surprises. Pryor certainly is the type of freakish athlete that Al Davis loves. Although he has never land one, or any kind of player, via the supplemental draft.
Pryor received mixed reviews from his pro day. As a quarterback, his accuracy is still the big question. Also of huge concern is that he has never really been asked to go through a progression of receivers.
What is not in doubt, is Pryor's size speed ratio. He is almost 6'5" and 233 pounds. Some scouts had him clocked in the 40 below 4.4. He also has a long wingspan and huge hands. Attributes that could prove handy if he switches to receiver.
Pryor was less than stellar in the vertical jump, three cone drill and short shuttle. In other words, he is faster than he is quick. But these are also attributes that Al Davis does not seem to key on as much as 40 times. So, stay tuned. The Raiders may have a new toy.
While they are already without a 2nd and 4th round draft pick for 2012, Al Davis isn't afraid to swap a draft pick in the future for a draft pick now.
I'm firmly in the pass category on this one. I don't think Pryor can hack it as an NFL QB. The Raiders have enough project and/or young receivers.
