Oakland Raiders Tuesday Injury Updates

Great news on the injury front today. Chris Johnson returned to practice and was participating in all of the cornerback drills. This report comes to us via Steve Corkran. This will give Johnson a full two weeks to practice before the opener, which means that the rook DVD won't be thrust into the starting lineup with a giant bullseye on his back.

John Henderson also returned to practice today. As far as I am concerned, Big John can take it easy so he stays fresh for his 20 or so snaps of run stuffing play a game.

Richard Seymour is still not practicing. He missed Friday's practice and the game on Sunday with what is unofficially believed to be a hamstring nick. Unless the hamstring injury is more on the severe side, there should be more than enough time to get ready for the opener.

The most alarming injury news is that Stefen Wisniewski was in uniform but being held out of drills and had a wrap on his right knee. Although it is probably a good sign that he was in uniform. Hopefully he'll be back practicing soon. These are valuable reps for the rook.
