You seldom get any injury information from Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson until he is mandated to release it. Apparently his good spirits from the victory over the Jets loosened up his lips.

Hue Jackson, as quoted by Steve Corkran, on McFadden's injury:

"You had to mention that name. No, I think he’ll be fine. I really do. It tightened up on him moreso than anything. I’m going to be very cautious with him to make sure he’s OK, but he’ll be fine."

This jives with what McFadden had to say after the game. So good news all around—Run DMC is fine.

That was as far as Hue's good spirits would lead lead him down his revelatory path. Jacoby Ford took it upon himself to update his own status.

Here is Ford, from the same article by Corkran:

"Right now, it’s day to day. This week definitely is day to day. I ran today, and that was the best I’ve felt. So far, it’s looking good for playing this week."

I am sure Jacoby is itching to get back on the field. This guy wants to play all the time anyway, and he now is facing the realization that Denarius Moore is getting into what was supposed to be Ford's featured role in the offense.

There is no news from the rest of the guys. That is probably good news as far as Matt Shuaghnessy's shoulder goes.
