The team had just signed Gurley to the practice squad last week. He had been on the Vikings practice squad and released earlier this month after spending last season on the Packers' practice squad. Gurley had been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Packers in 2011 out of South Carolina.
Ihenacho made the Raiders roster this season after a strong camp and preseason. He was waived last week and replaced as a reserve strong side linebacker by Vic So'oto. As soon as he cleared waivers, the team signed him to the practice squad.
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah had been signed to the Raiders practice squad two weeks ago but was released when the team signed Ihenacho. Now the two trade out again.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Owusu-Ansah played in four games with two starts with Jacksonville in 2011, and has returned 28 career kickoffs for 599 yards (21.4 avg.) and six punts for 47 yards (7.8 avg.).
Mondek was drafted by the Texans in the sixth round this year. He was the only 2012 drafted player the Texans cut in their final roster cutdown. The 6-5, 304 pound Mondek played offensive tackle at Purdue.
