Week 8 game picks

New, comments

It's weekly picks time here at Silver & Black Pride. Where the S&BP staff chooses who we think will win each match-up for week 8 of the NFL season.

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

Last week was a good one for picks. Rhynno stayed in the top spot with a 12-1 record for the week and S.O.B. stayed in the second spot with his 12-1. Just behind them were myself and RaiderWay with 11-2 records for the week.

The only one of us to move up the overall board was myself who moved out of a tie with RDreamer. Adam had the worst record of the week with a 8-5 to keep him in the final spot overall.

There wasn't a single game in which we all missed. But there were several in which we all were correct. We all said the Raiders would win and they eeked one out against the lowly Jaguars. The consensus also hit on the Giants, Packers, Vikings, and Patriots.

Lone game losers were RDreamer who picked the Browns to beat the Colts and Buccaneers to beat the Saints, RaiderWay who picked the Panthers to beat the Cowboys, and Adam who picked the Lions over the Bears.

This week there are a few more consensus picks. We all have the Raiders winning in Kansas City. We also all agree on the Vikings, Bears, Patriots, Packers, and 49ers.

Let's hope for another week like last week when four of us had no more than two incorrect. Except for Rhynno, of course. He is now the hunted.
