Week 9 game picks

Last week Rhynno became the hunted at the top spot but S.O.B. hunted him down and took the top spot as of this week with his week 8 best 10-4 record. Also moving up was myself from the four spot to the three spot marking two straight weeks of moving up in the ranks since my abysmal 4-10 record in week 6.

It's been a tight race all season long and it gets more and more difficult to separate from the pack with the good teams and bad teams becoming a bit more distinguishable.

As for week 8 picks, only one consensus pick was wrong. We all thought the Vikings would beat the Buccaneers on Thursday night but quite the contrary happened. The Buccaneers proved far superior that night and now are set to face the Raiders in Oakland on nine days rest.

Rhynno was back at the bold predictions again last week. He struck correct as the only one to predict the Browns would beat the Chargers as well as the Colts beating the Titans. That amazing Vick Ballard diving TD in the waning seconds made the second prediction come true. Unfortunately, he also was the only one to have the Cowboys over the Giants and one of two to have the Eagles over the mighty Falcons so it evened out.

This week the consensus picks are the Chargers, Ravens, Packers, Redskins, Lions, Texans, and Seahawks. I was the only one who had the Buccaneers over the Raiders (sorry), RaiderWay is the sole believer in the Titans over the Bears, and S.0.B. made two bold choices in picking the Steelers over the Giants and Cowboys over the Falcons.
