Last week, the Raiders had a chance to turn their season around with a win over Tampa Bay. They failed, and now will likely have another down year and will be lucky to get back to 8-8. With the Raiders traveling to Baltimore this week, things are only going to get worse.
The Ravens are having a down year for their standards, with the 23rd ranked overall defense. That's really low considering the high bar they have set for the last decade. Ray Lewis is out with injury, their players are aging, and things just haven't gone their way. That will probably change on Sunday. I don't see the Raiders being able to get anything going, especially with the health problems in their backfield.
This one's going to get ugly. I don't want to waste a lot of words on this one, because it isn't worth getting mad over. I circled this game before the season as one that was an automatic loss because #1 it's the Ravens and #2 the game is being played on the East Coast where the Raiders have not won a game in an eternity. This will look, sound, and feel like the Dolphins game except we'll be playing a team that is actually better than us and so it's not like we expected to win this like we did against Miami.
This will be a good old-fashioned country ass whipping. Ravens win, 46-12.
