RaiderDamus' Friday Foretelling Week 16: Raiders vs. Panthers

New, comments

Can the Raiders continue their strong play in Carolina this week?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider fans! It is I, RaiderDamus, back yet again to reveal the fate of the Raiders which has been shown me by the Great Beyond. Now, as the world is slated to end today, RaiderDamus does not have a lot of time to write this as I am moving to another cave, deep within the bowels of the earth. However, I have a few minutes to share the score and some tidbits.

The Raiders don't win on the East Coast, like ever. They haven't won east of Missouri this year, and unfortunately this game is played in North Carolina. So there's strike one.

Cam Newton is playing really well lately. He has thrown for over 500 yards with 5 total touchdowns and no turnovers in the past two games. Strike two.

The Raiders have just about nothing to play for and may choose to evaluate their young players, at least the ones healthy enough to play. Strike three. Hopefully they evaluate Greg Knapp back to the fifth circle of hell from whence his playbook came.

Panthers win, 38-16.
