It's here, folks. The Raiders all-important third preseason game. Ok, maybe it's not ALL important, but as far as preseason games go, it's the most important. We will see the starters for three quarters after a week of gameplanning for their opponent. Who is ahead after three quarters of play will actually mean something.

How these guys play will also mean something. It will be the most fun to watch for all these reasons.

It's three quarters of Carson Palmer will control the offense against the stout Lions defensive front led by Ndamukong Suh, Corey Williams, Nick Fairley, Kyle Vanden Bosch, and Cliff Avril. Palmer will attempt to show everyone that his interceptions in the first two weeks were just experimenting and that now it's game time.

The Raiders Defense will face off against Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Stafford and All Pro receivrer, Calvin "Megatron" Johnson. The Lions have a high-powered up-tempo offense that will give the Raiders defense their biggest test yet. If they can shut down their offense like they did the Cowboys and Cardinals, that would be incredibly impressive.

This should be fun so strap in and enjoy. I would say let's keep it lively but I know you will.
