Raiders announce their first roster cuts 2012

It's here. The first round of roster cuts in which the Raiders reduce their active roster to the maximum of 75 players. The team was at 87 players so the needed to release 12 players to get down to the limit. The Raiders have announced which players they have released.

The list of released players is as follows:

The Raiders on Monday waived LB Korey Bosworth, DE Mason Brodine, DE Wayne Dorsey, S Aaron Henry, CB Terrail Lambert, WR Thomas Mayo, WR DeAundre Muhammad, QB Kyle Newhall-Caballero, S Chaz Powell, FB Manase Tonga and waived-injured FB Rashawn Jackson and OL Ed Wang.

The roster will remain at 75 players until Friday, August 31 when it will be trimmed down to the final 53 man roster.

The Raiders play their final preseason game on Thursday when they travel to Seattle to play the Seahawks.
