Raiders running back Mike Goodson went down hard in Raiders training camp today and didn't get back up. Linebacker Philip Wheeler connected with a helmet to helmet hit on Goodson that left him momentarily motionless. The team called for an ambulance

The team brought out a flat board as they would with any head, neck, or back injury and removed his facemask. Offering some encouragement was the fact that Goodson began moving his legs and arms while on the ground.

The ambulance arrived and EMT's on the scene placed him on the flat board and took him to the hospital. There is no word as of yet to the extent of the injury.

Best case scenario, it is a concussion which means he will be sidelined for a while to recover.

Goodson has been having a great camp and was making a push to be the team's number two running back. Darren McFadden, Taiwan Jones, and Lonyae Miller will carry the load in his absence-- however long it may be.

Once I receive word on the diagnosis, I will pass it along.
