Last month I gave you all the first preview of one of the changes being made to Silver & Black Pride when I unveiled the spankin' new logo. That logo is only a small portion of the completely new S&BP as part of SB Nation United.

As with any new system, it may take you a moment to adjust your eyes and find all the functionality to it. But once you do, trust me you will love it as much as I do. The layout first and foremost will be a lot different. But the look is only the beginning.

First of all, SB Nation United is going to make all SB Nation sites load faster and run better meaning you can get to the content you want faster. It will be the kind of speed that would make Al Davis want to take it with a high draft pick.

Second, it will allow us to highlight the best and brightest content up front with our flexible layout, modern design and less clutter. So when you want to find something, it will be much more easy to locate.

Now, granted, the S&BP one won't be adorned in red and gold with Jim Harbaugh making an ugly face. But the layout will be similar to this with some variations available with the aforementioned flexible design. Just replace this one with silver and black, replace the Niners logo with the S&BP logo from above, and take away the All Pro middle linebacker and voila!

This next new feature is one I am particularly stoked out of my mind about. The site will run seamlessly from every platform, whether mobile, tablet or computer. No matter where you are, the experience will not change. So regardless if your slacking at work on your computer or slacking at work on your smart phone, you will see the same incredibly witty yet informative commentary in a nice, easy-to-read package.

Another truly awesome addition is the Story Stream. It allows continuous updates on a developing story to be published together in a stream so you can always know the latest news on any given situation and find it all in one place.

But never fear, even with all the changes, there will be the FanPosts and FanShots areas as well as GameThreads.

Trust me, I understand the feeling of something you knew so well, and felt so comfortable with you could do it with your eyes closed and then one day, everything seems foreign. But unlike the Raiders uniforms which haven't changed in 50 years, we must grow with technology. Heed the words and wisdom of the great Garth Algar.

Just think of it like a new cell phone. They always take some time to get used to. But a few hundred "F@#king piece of $#*t!"s later, you realize this new cell phone can actually make your life a lot easier. You remember when we didn't have cell phones at all? Neither do I.

There are so many other cool additions that I can't even tell you about. Suffice it to say, you will eventually wonder how you ever did without it. It's coming very soon so...
